A Week Until Opening!

An Outside Rehearsal!

The jitters never quit during prepping, rehearsing, and putting on a show. The whole process goes by pretty quickly! Auditions, rehearsals, tech week, show, strike, cast party, and start it all over again! It’s a stressful but fun and fulfilling process.

I’ve only put on one other show for PFTS and that was in a park. This time, I am renting a building, communicating with more people, and fully producing a play. It’s honestly a process that is stressful and overwhelming but, in the end, very rewarding! Putting on something that the community can enjoy and putting people on stage that love it and have a passion for it, is all that I need as motivation to keep going, no matter how stressful it gets!

In the picture above, we are rehearsing and reading lines in the park! The place I am renting for the show has other engagements this week, but we don’t let that get in our way of rehearsing! Though it was a bit overcast and breezy, the cast put in effort to go through the entire play with love, passion, and energy. Excitement for opening night glimmers in their eyes and rushes through their veins.
